1. Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of moratrix.net, operated by Moratrix LLC (Moratrix). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. The service
Moratrix is an AI-assisted research format that reads public filings, announcements and historical price and volume data and produces dated, sourced readouts. The site also provides information about the product and an optional text message preference form.
This website does not offer account creation, checkout or payment processing. Features described on the site may be offered through a separate product interface under additional terms.
3. No investment advice
Moratrix LLC is not a registered investment adviser. Nothing on this site, and nothing the model produces, is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or an offer to buy or sell any security. We do not provide personalised advice, do not manage money, and do not have a fiduciary relationship with you.
You are responsible for your own investment decisions. Verify the underlying documents and consult a licensed financial, tax or legal adviser before making a decision that matters to you.
4. Accounts and communications
If you create an account through a Moratrix product, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without authorisation.
The text message preferences form on this site records whether you want to receive account notification and marketing texts. It does not create an account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site in violation of any law, including securities laws;
- scrape, copy or redistribute the site or its content except as permitted by these terms;
- interfere with the site's operation, security or form endpoints;
- submit false information or another person's phone number without permission;
- use the site to send spam, malware or unlawful content; or
- misrepresent an output as personalised advice or as a recommendation from Moratrix.
6. Intellectual property
The site, its design, text and original charts are owned by Moratrix LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to view the site for your own research. You may not reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from or commercially exploit the content without our written permission.
Third-party filing text, company names and market data remain the property of their respective owners. Ticker symbols are used for identification only.
7. Third-party data and links
The site relies on public filings, announcements and third-party market data. We do not control those sources and cannot guarantee that they are accurate, complete, current or uninterrupted. A link to a third-party site does not mean we endorse it.
8. SMS Communications
By opting in at https://moratrix.net/updates, or by replying YES to a Moratrix marketing message, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Moratrix (Moratrix LLC) at the mobile number you provide. The program is Moratrix Account & Product Messages. Message types include account verification and sign-in alerts, subscription confirmations and renewal reminders, billing and payment notifications, and product feature updates, as well as marketing and promotional messages about the Moratrix product. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Marketing messages promote the Moratrix product and do not name individual securities or provide market-direction calls. Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE or UNSUB to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We will not sell or share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. You represent that the mobile number you submit is yours or that you have the account holder's permission to opt it in. If you change or deactivate the number, notify us so we can update the record.
9. Disclaimers
The site and all outputs are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. AI-assisted extraction can misread a document or omit context. Third-party data can be delayed, revised or wrong.
Past performance does not guarantee future results. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of some or all of your principal.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moratrix LLC and its officers, employees and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, opportunity or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim arising from the site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moratrix LLC and its officers, employees and service providers from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of another person's rights.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of the page will change, and a material change will be reflected on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
